Not much to add other than high pressure dominating the proceedings as the dry season continues for the region, very seasonal for this time of year.
The main wave action and moisture attached should be confided to the south of the nation, we may see some cloud at times on the jet stream but the air is warm and stable and not in a position to produce rainfall during the coming week to ten days.
GFS 00z - Surface Pressure Pattern - Next 16 days - Valid Saturday 17th of July 2021
GFS continues the fast flow westerly pattern with further rain and strong winds coming up this week over the southern parts of the nation keeping the region in the dry continental flow, and seasonal temperatures. A series of troughs may bring windy weather at times to the south but the easterly winds continue and keep temperatures elevated. There are no major signs for rainfall in the medium term however conditions are expected to favour rainfall returning as we go through August for the state.
Rainfall for the coming 10 days
I am sorry to report there is not much rainfall expected in a dry and stable airmass, this will change in the coming weeks so do not despair, I do think SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER will be wetter than normal for many areas, so hang in there.
