QUICK LOOK FOR THE EARLY BIRDS - RAIN FOR SA NEXT WEEK???

We know we have wild weather ongoing in the east today, it has been profiled to death this week and will continue through to the end of today, so rainfall will ease up over QLD later today.

In the west conditions have also eased as the front has weakened, though a low offshore has brought some damaging winds and heavy rainfall to some areas of SWLD of WA. I see a few areas seeing 50mm with this feature which is welcome and above average rainfall for the Gascoyne and Pilbara too.

The weekend looking fairly benign at this time.

Next week, could this be a system to bring SA widespread rainfall and follow up falls to the east? Certainly looking at some interesting signals off the modelling this morning before I get on the plane home.
