MAY HAVE TO WATCH THE INDIAN OCEAN OVER THE COMING WEEK

Looking at the simulated satellite and water vapour presentation on the GFS and across some of the other longer term models, the seasonal shift may begin in the next 10-14 days for Southern and Western Australia with the emergence of the neutral SAM coupled with the MJO rotating through the north of the nation leading to moisture being dragged southeast into a jet stream and possibly linking up with a fast flow pattern to the south of the nation.

This equals extensive clouds and rain band potential.

Nothing is locked in but an element to watch and more on this tomorrow morning.
