LUNCH TIME UPDATE ON NEXT WEEK.

Again still no real change in the fast wave action through the remainder of the month with significant winter weather still expected.

GFS 18Z - Upper flow pattern for the coming 2 weeks.

Continues to show the vigorous weather pattern bringing widespread rainfall and gusty winds to the south, but for the northern two thirds, more of the same. Moderate rainfall for coastal areas still expected for southern Australia with that creeping inland with each front or trough that passes through.

Precipitable Water Values/Moisture content - very promising for rainfall through WA, SA, VIC, TAS and NSW. There could be some wild weather next weekend with severe winds as well.

Medium term into early August, there are still significant signals for more follow up rainfall.

GFS 18Z - Precipitable Water Values for the coming 2 weeks.

Good values are attached to most weather features passing through over the coming 10 days, but I still reckon, keep an eye on that system over the southeast this time next week, that could be a wild event for southeast SA, VIC, TAS and southern and southeast NSW.

A larger update after 5pm this evening on the state by state forecasts and a national wrap.

Happy Saturday.
