With the spring preview with the yo yo temperatures, that means as the ridges come through in the wavy flow pattern, clear skies and sunny days lead to frosts.
There is the chance of severe frost for many areas of eastern NSW and creeping north and south of the border over higher terrain.
Tender crops could be impacted, but the frost is not a long duration event.
The temperatures are slightly too warm for a freeze for now, the thickness values in the atmosphere will support severe frosts at this stage, but just keep an eye on the temperatures before bed if you need to run those pipes on the land.
But conditions warm quickly through Friday and during the weekend, some areas that are seeing frost will see temperatures in the 30s!!!
The spring feel is in the air!
