FROSTS BACK FOR POCKETS OF THE COUNTRY ON THURSDAY MORNING.

Not as widespread as this mornings severe frosts with many centres enduring their coldest starts in many years. Another cold night is on the way for the interior and pockets of the east and southeast inland as that drier air works eastwards and clears the east.

A weak cold front glancing the southeast tonight will cause enough wind to save the southeast inland from frosts at this time.

Some areas over the desert could get down to -5C on Thursday morning so very cold starts across the outback if you are travelling.

A nice day to follow for many areas with brighter days in the east.
