FOGGY MORNINGS TO FEATURE OVER THE COMING 2 DAYS IN THE SOUTHEAST

With the warmer and more humid air starting to move into the east, the frost risk over the region is expected to decrease over coming days, with more moisture and warmer overnight minima.

With more moisture in the air, combining with the smoke haze that is blanketing large parts of NSW at the moment, areas of fog is likely to feature for many Thursday and Friday morning.

Some areas of fog could be heavy at times, closer to the controlled burn offs and about areas on and west of the GDR in NSW.

Heavy fog could also impact Melbourne and a lot of central Victoria during Thursday morning with a shift to more southeast to easterly winds, perfect setup for fog at this time of year.

Fog could be heavy enough for flight delays at some airports on Thursday morning.
