ANZAC DAY FORECAST

ANZAC WEEKEND DRY FOR MANY WITH SUNNY SKIES RETURNING TO THE SOUTH.

A cool week with onshore winds and showers will all but dry up over the long weekend, with high pressure moving in slowly from the west.

That will bring a spell of settled weather as we get ANZAC Day on Sunday with a cold start for those away from the coast and widespread frost for inland areas of NSW and the ACT.

Showers and storms will continue over the tropical north making that the wettest place in the country this long weekend.

Forecast Temperatures for 5am on Sunday.

Warm to hot out west with a continued easterly flow as the high moves further away, so warmer air will be drawn in.

Otherwise seasonal conditions can be expected elsewhere with light winds.
