A WARNING TO FARMERS ARE GRAZIERS THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH AND EAST.

Very cold air, coupled with showers, hail and squalls will develop from Friday with the coldest air already arrived in western SA, and that weather getting worse by the hour as the thermal values outside drop way into the single figures. The shift will be acute given the mild and well above average temperatures in the moist northwest flow.


The sharp drop after a prolonged period of mild weather will be noticeable for stock.


The conditions will be at their worst through Friday and Saturday before easing during Sunday as the winds moderate but the showery periods may persist for coastal areas of SA and VIC.
